About this trek

This isn’t just a trek, it’s a pilgrimage.

Nagdwar is the annual yatra in Pachmarhi, dedicated to Nagdevta — the “Amarnath of Madhya Pradesh”. Fifteen to eighteen kilometres of walking, seven steep hills, dense forest and deep ravines through the Mahadeo range, alongside thousands of barefoot pilgrims. It is the hardest thing on our calendar and we do not pretend otherwise.

Day 1 — Leave Bhopal at 10 PM by Traveller and jeep. Reach Dhoopgarh base around 5:30 AM, breakfast at 6:30, on the trail by 7.

Day 2 — Lunch on the route around 2 PM. Trek completes and darshan happens between 5 and 6 PM. Jeep down to Pachmarhi at 6:30, camp set up by 8 — bonfire, music, dinner, overnight in tents.

Day 3 — Breakfast, optional sightseeing around Pachmarhi, lunch, then the drive back. Bhopal by about 2 PM.

Go in fit. Come back with a story.
